Storyboard timing

After sketching a rough draft of my storyboard, I started thinking about the timing and making sure I could fit the project into the 30 sec limit. Following some of the advice from a AWN forum from 2005 (http://www.awn.com/forum/thread/1003835), I decided to use a stopwatch to time myself running through the actions. I started by making a list of the main actions in the video, then marked down a time when I was satisfied with roughly how long each would take.

It took a number of run throughs to get it all done, as the whole scene is so short, but I am satisfied that the numbers are fairly achievable. The timing could change a bit as I start filming the scenes, as I need to make sure the pacing is okay, but I can’t imagine things changing too much (I hope!).
